We will be taking new students for mandatory orientation intake assessments on August 6 and 7, 2025 from 8:30am – 11:00am and again from 12:30 - 3:00pm for classes to start August 18, 2025! 

You will be assigned a specific time and day once you take your CASAS reading assessment.

You need to take your CASAS assessment BEFORE you attend orientation – take it before August 6th or you will not be able to attend orientation!

You will need to be here the entire 2 1/2 hours for assessments so please plan for that and show up on time (8:30am  or 12:30pm) on the day you are you scheduled.

English as a Second Language classes are offered at Charles A. Jones Career and Education Center to help people new to the country attain a better grasp of the English language.  We offer all levels of ESL instruction and students are placed into the appropriate level according to their assessment scores. Classes are offered both in the morning and the afternoon/evening.
